The inverter DAB Active Driver Plus is a command and control device for an electric pump, which includes connections to the hydraulic system, a pressure sensor, a flow sensor and an electronic frequency converter (inverter).
The inverter DAB Active Driver Plus is applied on the delivery of each electric pump, it regulates the rotation speed of the electric pump to which it is connected, so as to obtain constant pressure when the required water flow rate varies. The water flowing through the Active Driver Plus connections also helps to cool the heat produced by the internal electronic components.
The units with Inverter DAB Active Driver Plus have been designed and manufactured to meet the constant pressure requirements of modern plant engineering. Constant pressure regulation is used in a wide variety of sectors: water supply, irrigation, industry, hotels, housing and spas. The inverter DAB Active Driver Plus is a simple, flexible and reliable system.

Operation Inverter DAB Active Driver Plus: the inverter starts the pump at the first request of water, the pump speed is adjusted (continuously) to the minimum value to meet the demand of the user. This allows considerable energy savings.
In a group, the start-up of the second and third pump occurs in cascade, when the first pump reaches the maximum speed.
The pressure is adjustable by the user through two keys + and - placed on Active Driver Plus (usually all pumps are set at the same pressure value).
The pumps are stopped automatically in the following cases: Pump overcurrent - Dry running - Low supply voltage - Exceeding of a maximum pressure value (adjustable) - Overheating of Active Driver Plus electronic components.
